"It's not enough to simply avoid being found guilty of a crime. Instead, as an employee of the NFL or a member club, you are held to a higher standard. Persons who fail to live up to this standard are guilty of conduct detrimental and subject to discipline, even where the conduct itself does not result in conviction of a crime."The National Football League has suspended Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall for three games, as was reported on Sunday by NFL Networks Adam Schefter. Marshall's attorney Harvey Steinberg says that he will appeal the sentencing.
Harvey Steinberg, fans may remember, is the same attorney who successfully won the appeal for Travis Henry last season, which ultimately led to Henry not being suspended by the NFL at all. Well, at least until after the Broncos cut him.
We appologise for the delay, Blogger has been down for maintenance.
